Congress needs to start confronting the executive office and stop blaming the president (who we already know has never had the strength required to be held accountable) for their inability to stay on the mat and hold each other and themselves accountable. Your children are watching. They can still feel your unconscious carried shame, fear and guilt. If you care about your children and their emotional maturity then…Congress you need to get out of your closet of fear. Grow up or resign. Accountability is not easy. It Requires not collapsing into our fears and false security. Be merciful 🌎☮️

Certainly agree with Fox being a part of the lack of accountability. Journalism is about holding oneself and others accountable. Otherwise all you have is marketing and advertisement to make money. Fox, and our present administration do not have the emotional maturity required to be accountable. As long as we fall for adults, blaming other adults for their incompetence and unwillingness to be held accountable. We will remain loyal to any story that does not make us feel uncomfortable. We live in a culture that rewards not dealing with uncomfortable feelings. So we cover up truth and shame the truth tellers …. then have to hide our authentic self in order to maintain the cordial hypocrisy. Entertainment is meant to make you feel good. News is meant to help you grow and hopefully to be and do better. Accountability begins in childhood. For example, in our terrible twos, we want a toy or a cookie. If we don’t get that toy or cookie, will start to cry. If we still don’t get that cookie or that toy, then we’ll get angry. If our parents can’t handle Our crying or our getting angry or our temper tantrums and if our care givers give in to us…we learn that’s all we have to do to get what we want…. Scream, kick, break things. If our parents maintained the NO with love and compassion and firmness we would learn about accountability. We would cultivate self-esteem. We would learn how to care about other people. The terrible twos is a developmental stage. This is where we are learning about accountability, resilience, and how to balance self-worth while recognizing the impact we have on other people at the same time.. the only way we hurt other people as adults is if we haven’t learned how to feel our own pain. As long as we blame other people for our inability to deal with life, we never grow up. We don’t really have self-esteem. In fact, many of us have confused grandiosity with self-esteem.

Cheri Jacobus already has an excellent plan for a daily fact-checked briefing from the Capitol. I understand Marc Cuban endorsed the plan which many of us support. Apparently the Dems in congress can’t or won’t even try. Cheri and I prefer having Pete Buttigieg do the briefing as he is articulate and can field questions. If a non-politician would be better, how about Jen Psaki?The thing is Cheri could help set this up if only the Dems would allow this credible fact-checked daily briefing. Google Cheri Jacobus Pete Buttigieg to find her podcast. Or ask the Oregon Senators and Oregon Rep Salinas. I have contacted them many times.

This. Do this. Strategically change the discussion;

Want to put a lid on disinformation? Defund it. We all know the most powerful tool in the right wing is media. To biggest transgressor is FOX. If you believe as we do that MAGA fails without FOX and that destroying honest media makes it even worse; Eviscerate FOX. Deny them ad $ by denying the ad buying company CEO and execs bonuses. For example Home Depot. Boycott them for a full fiscal quarter. Get all on line influencers to post every day for the entire time. See how fast CEO’s stop buying ads - do only ONE brand - do it implacably for an entire quarter. See how quickly you become the new sheriff in town and how fast other CEO’s quit buying ads. See how fast FOX changes content. All they care about is $. Oh - and next generation FOX CEO will be a decent human being if you do this. Details matter. Talk to me. See Target and Tesla for examples.

Restack. NEVER LET ANYONE FORGET- trump cabinet members are rapists & criminals. Elon paid a flight attendant to TOUCH HIS ERECT PENIS in 2024!

I was looking up John Gotti - trump LOVES to compare himself to this CONVICTED murderer who died in prison- and found this Dec 2024 article by THE NATION

Here is a GRAPHIC excerpt. I trust you can pick out trump cabinent members Hegseth Bessant. Linda McMahon. Steve Ludnick. Rfk jr. Stephen Miller. And Elon by the description

Trump has shown a particular fondness for those connected to or accused of sexual offenses.

In The American Prospect, Maureen Tkacik has provided a horrifying list of Trump officials accused or guilty of terrible misconduct:

The presumptive Secretary of Education is married to a man whose former employee alleges he forced her to perform sex acts with his friend for an hour and a half after he defecated on her head. The presumptive Commerce Secretary preemptively sued his former assistant in 2018, after her lawyer threatened to publicize “not pretty” 2 a.m. text messages she’d received from him and his wife. The presumptive Health and Human Services director’s explanation for forcibly groping a former nanny’s breasts while holding her hostage in a kitchen pantry was that he “had a very, very rambunctious youth”; he was 46 at the time. The White House efficiency czar, currently a defendant in a putative class-action lawsuit filed by eight former employees who accuse him of perpetrating an “Animal House” work environment of “rampant sexual harassment,” and paid a quarter of a million dollars to a flight attendant who says he got naked and asked her to touch his erect penis in exchange for the gift of a horse.

And of course the presumptive Defense Secretary was accused of raping a woman who was tasked with monitoring what she described to police as his “creeper vibes” after a Republican women’s conference at which he was a keynote speaker, just a month and change after the birth of his fourth child with a woman who was not his wife at the time.

If Abraham Lincoln created, in the words of historian Doris Kearns Godwin, “a team of rivals” in his cabinet, Trump is creating a team of sexual predators, with himself as the miscreant in chief.

You know I always wondered why the MAGA billionaires hide. Why won’t they come forward and have a conversation with leaders who have differing opinions? Why do they have to have every cruel intention and none that are all inclusive? Why doesn’t someone create an online list of people they know are MAGAS and it be maintained by someone signed up for Steve’s Save America coalition or 501-C4. Right now all I can think of is what the acronym MAGA stands for. It stands for MAGA hats and apparel Made In China. How does that make this country good again? How many jobs does that create?
